HEALTH & FITNESS 

Senior health and fitness is about maintaining strength, mobility, balance, heart health, and mental well-being in order to live independently and with confidence. As we age, regular physical activity becomes one of the most powerful tools for preventing chronic disease.  It also improves energy, mood, and cognitive function.  We will include low-medium impact cardiovascular exercise, strength training, flexibility work, and balance training.  Proper nutrition, hydration, adequate sleep, and social engagement all also contribute to overall wellness too.

COMMUNITY & INCLUSIVITY

We are building a community of inclusivity that foster connection, dignity, and a sense of belonging.  We will intentionally create welcoming spaces where individuals of different cultures, faiths, income levels, and life experiences feel valued and respected.  This includes offering accessible facilities, diverse programming, affordable participation options, and opportunities for meaningful engagement such as volunteerism, fitness classes, educational workshops, and social gatherings.

RESTORE & TRANSFORM PROGRAMS

Program Management

Several members of the Board of Directors will have a role in the program management. Christopher Spellman who serves as Planning Manager will have a vital role, as well as Barry Ford who is our Lead Trainer and Robin Totten our Primary Educator. Michelle Spellman, who is our Data Analyst will track all vital statistics. 

Fitness Classes

60 minute Low-medium impact full body workouts will be held 2 days per week. Yoga classes will be held 2 evenings per month. Aerobic classes will be held 2 evenings month. 

Nutrition Classes

Monthly nutrition seminars will include information about proven studies on food, nutrients and vitamins and supplements that are not always readily available. 

Social Gatherings

Monthly movie nights be a staple of our social festivities. We will also have line dancing, paint parties, and bingo nights.
